Editorial & Commercial Transparency
Effective: May 14, 2025
Let The Raven Talk is committed to editorial integrity and transparency. This Disclosure page explains our commercial relationships, content practices, and how we fund the platform, so you can read our coverage with full context.
1. Advertising
This Platform is supported in part by advertising. We display ads served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Advertisers do not have editorial input, and the presence of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser’s products or services by Let The Raven Talk.
Paid advertisements are always visually distinguished from editorial content and labeled “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” or similar.
2. Sponsored Content & Native Advertising
From time to time, we may publish content that has been commissioned or funded by a third party (“Sponsored Content”). Any such content will be clearly labeled with language such as:
- “Sponsored by [Brand]”
- “Presented in partnership with [Brand]”
- “Paid partnership”
Sponsored content may reflect the perspectives and messaging of our partners. While we maintain editorial standards, sponsored pieces may not represent the independent editorial views of Let The Raven Talk.
3. Affiliate Links
Some links on this Platform may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase — at no additional cost to you. We only include affiliate links to products, tools, and services we believe may be relevant or useful to our community. The presence of an affiliate link does not influence our editorial position.
Our commitment: Affiliate relationships never influence which companies we cover, how we cover them, or what conclusions we reach in our editorial work.
4. Investor Relations & Startup Coverage
As a startup-focused media platform, we cover companies, founders, and investors across the ecosystem. Our coverage is based on independent editorial judgment. We may have professional relationships, receive press materials, or attend events hosted by companies we cover. We are not compensated to write positively about any specific company unless explicitly disclosed as sponsored content.
If a member of our team has a financial stake in a company being covered, we will disclose that relationship within the relevant piece.
5. Free Products & Press Access
We may receive complimentary access to products, services, events, or software for the purpose of editorial review. Receiving free access does not guarantee a positive review or any coverage at all. We will disclose when a review is based on a complimentary product or experience.
6. Community & Events
Let The Raven Talk may host or co-host events, accelerators, or community programs. Some may be sponsored by third-party companies. Sponsorship of an event does not give sponsors editorial control over our coverage or community programming.
7. Email Newsletter
Our newsletter may contain both editorial content and promotional messages, including sponsored newsletter placements. Sponsored placements in our email will always be clearly labeled. We do not sell or rent subscriber lists to third parties.
8. FTC Compliance
Let The Raven Talk operates in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Any material connection between our platform and a brand — including compensation, free products, or equity — will be disclosed.
9. Corrections Policy
We are committed to accuracy. If we publish factual errors, we will correct them promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted within the article. To report an error, contact us at the address below.
10. Contact Our Editorial Team
